Expanding Resources

I have E-Mailed two professionals; one from China and one from Ghana. I look forward to hearing back from them. I'm hoping we can communicate effectively, as I feel this step is interesting and resourceful. Although, I will fall back on the alternative if needed.

I have selected this website. I work in a school with various ethnicities, and I find this website to be the most resourceful for me.

  1. Hi Stephanie!

I emailed seven professionals; ranging from Hong Kong to Singapore to even South Africa. Out of the seven professionals I e-mailed, one of my e-mails made it through without bouncing back. I am curious to know if the two professionals you e-mailed have contacted you yet. I too am very eager to hear back from mine. I have never had the opportunity to see how early childhood education is seen through the eyes of other countries! I am attempting to find other early childhood professionals from other countries as I am not so keen on giving up! I had to do the alternative assignment which I was very excited about doing. How is it working in a school with various ethnicities? Do you find it hard at time to communicate with certain families?

  3. Stephanie,
I hope that you hear back from your contacts as well. I think that there is a great deal that can be learned from other people's views on things in the education field. What is the ethnic makeup of the school that you work in? I hope that the website that you have chosen is of great benefit to you. Have a great week!
